A leading automobile manufacturer and several Tier 1 suppliers planned to build a state-of-the-art production line with a wide range of areas: precision assembly in the interior sector, engine construction, welding processes, positioning of heavy fixtures, and flexible cable management. In addition, maintenance and repair workstations as well as test stations for quality assurance (QA) were integrated. A consistently ergonomic, safe, and efficient solution was required for all of these areas.
